St. John’s Basketball once one of the nations most storied basketball programs, is in a state of emergency.
We have reached a point that where if the University does not act to correct the downward spiral the program has taken, we may never be able to get back to the level in which the loyal fans believe is possible.
Under the guidance of Norm Robert’s St. Johns has gone 19-44 in the Big East,
failed to achieve a winning record more then once, failed to recruit the proper
payers both in talent and academic credentials, and most importantly with no recruits signed for 2008/2009 the future looks even dimmer.
The students, fans, and alumni have had enough with the administrations inability to recognize failure, and wish to make a strong resounding statement that we DEMAND change. If not the endless stream of cancelled season tickets and donations will continue. Please help bring back St. John’s to a level of prominence once again, WE ARE ST. JOHN’S.

Because of our love and support of St. John's University Basketball, we the
following students, faculty, alumni, and fans of St. John's University, sincerely
and urgently request that you fire Norm Roberts as head mens basketball coach
immediately.
Our request is based on Coach Robert's ineptitude in dealing with all facets
of SJU's program since his hiring and his lack of experience as a head coach
on the collegiate level.
WE THE UNDERSIGNED agree that since Coach Robert's can't properly lead our
players, recruit big east talent, is an underperforming bench coach, and it's time
for him to go! Please sign and share your comments on this matter!
