On January 11, 006 the beautiful seven- year old Nizmary Brown died. She was victim of several abuse by her own mother and stepfather, her death impacted all NY.
Brown was allegedly tortured[1] and killed by her stepfather, Cesar Rodriguez over a cup of yogurt and a broken printer.[2] In the view of her father, to quote a USA today article, she was a "troublemaker".[3] On the night of January 11, 2006, Brown was beaten to death. Her mother, Nixzaliz Santiago, allegedly ignored Rodriguez slamming Brown's head into a bathtub while dousing her with cold water.
Rodriguez was charged with second-degree murder, sexual abuse and child endangerment. Santiago was charged with manslaughter and child endangerment. Each accused the other of inflicting the final, fatal blow.
ABC News noted that Rodriguez abused the little girl for months and smashed her head against a bathtub. One of the most brutal child abuse cases any person can imagine and ACS acted negligently leading to the death of this innocent child.
We, the petitioners, ask the Department of Justice of United States to condemn and give capital punishment to Cesar Rodriguez (stepfather of the victim) and Nixzaliz Santiago (mother of the victim) for the brutal murder of Nizmary Brown.
