Background (Preamble):
Global climate change is a reality and it will affect all of us in the coming decades. The need for action is urgent in order to protect generations to come. Time is of the essence for us to make a proactive stand for a sustainable and secure future.
The UK Climate Trust proposes to create the UK’s first dedicated Climate Change Solutions Centre at Seale Hayne. This “How-To” centre will enable individuals, corporate organisations, building developers, and rural and urban communities to mitigate the impact of climate change and adapt to new ways of sustainable living. The ethos of the centre will focus on converting research into action, delivering reliable information and trusted practical solutions to combat climate change.
We ask you to sign this petition so that we can all say to our children, family and friends that we have all taken a positive and proactive step towards the challenges of climate change.

We, the undersigned hereby wish to petition for the development of a Climate Change Solutions Centre on the Seale Hayne campus, near Newton Abbott, which will become a “how-to” role model to teach individuals and empower communities to lessen the impact of climate change and adapt to new ways of living.
