Background (Preamble):
My son Walter Cropper was murdered in September of 1992, as of this date his murder goes unsolved.
There is a very good suspect who is in jail on fraud charges because he used a missing boy's, Christoph Zahns, credit cards. Christoph has been missing since 1992. At the time i was told that the suspect could not be charged with murder because there was no body in Chris's case and circumstantial evidence in my child's. It has now been 16 years, I think we can safely assume that Chris is not going home to Sweden.
I have been told over and over that Walter's case is a cold case, it was a botched up investigation by the Prestonberg, KY police, given up by the FBI and ignored by the GBI.
My son was murdered in Kentucky and left in Georgia, I think the FBI should have remained on this case. The suspect, a convicted pedophile, will be coming up for parole.

Petition:
We, the undersigned call on the FBI in Kentucky, the GBI in Georgia and the Georgia state Attorneys' office to open both Walter Cropper and Christoph zahns files again and prosecute either this man for murder or find the person who did kill my child and Mrs. Zahns.
I sent my son to a school in Prestonberg. KY, mrs. Zahn sent her son to America on a bible study summer tour, 16 years ago they were both murdered and for all these years we have never found closure. Our boys did not even know each other but they both ran into this terrible man, if something is not done he will be free to kill again!
Not only did we suffer the pain of losing our children in such a terrible way but we have also been ignored by Law Enforcement and treated like we were crazy for trying to have the cases opened!!
I have even been told by LE that "I needed to get on with my life". My son was shot, then left to be ripped apart by Nature for two weeks on the side of a road, my child was taken from me in a horrible way, I can never just "get on with my life".
We ask that you open those files, find the evidence and keep that man in jail so that no other parents have to feel this pain because of him.
