Today we have the technology to create and maintain a bank account with ATM, Internet Login, remote banking, etc. with any of the Nationalised and private banks.
Our money with EPF

As a common employee, as per the Gov of India rules, we get a PF account and some part of our salary is accumulated every month.
* As a customer, do we have the right to access our PF account similar to that of the Bank account?
* Why we have somnay Reginlal PF Offices and thousands of peoples working with papers ? What prevents the Government to introduce the computerised account management?
* For example if you want to know the amount in your PF account, in Bangalore, you have to personaly visit the PF office and ask the official ( the working hours is 10AM - 1:00PM and 2:00PM to 5:00PM)
* For examle if you want to transfer your old PF account to the new PF account (it happens when you change your present job to a new job), the transfer takes some 6 months - YES Belive me ! .... in reality it takes more than 6 (six) months. This is un acceptable !
* I belive that only with Computerised Account management of the PF accounts we can address this isue. Will the Gov look into this?
* Computerise the PF account - like all the National and Privatised Bank !
* What prevents the Government of India in computerising the PF accounts? - Thousands of people are suffering !
