香港政府為了解決中環交通問題，決定拆卸中環天星碼頭及皇后碼頭，並指出是次拆卸為迫不得已的行動。我們明白中環的交通擠塞問題之嚴重，但亦希望政府明白天星碼頭及皇后碼頭是香港的重要地標，明白它們是市民生活、成長及回憶的重要部份。立法會規劃、地政及工務小組會議提議政府政府暫緩清拆計劃，正是反映著市民的意願。
早前，民間組織長春社提出了興建道路時避免拆卸天星碼頭及皇后碼頭，展示香港市民並不是單方面要求停止清拆，而同時亦願意參與研究實際可行方案。我們希望政府能採取開放態度，仔細研究此方案 (及任何其他的可行方案) 的可行性。... more
