THE TEENAGERS of Walmer, a suburb of the city of Port Elizabeth, South Africa NEED YOUR HELP. Teenage BMXers in the Walmer area have no place to go. The cities only skatepark and other established ramps are far away, and we have no transport.
The Walmer area is full of large empty spaces with much potential, but land is expensive and no teenager has that kind of money. We get chased away from the streets where we are forced to ride, and are harassed by the public, security guards and police on a daily basis.
ALL THIS CAN STOP if we had the land to build our own place!

We, the undersigned BMXers and skaters, call on the local government of Port Elizabeth to supply a section of land no less than 93 square meters for a skatepark.
