Background (Preamble):
Animal cruelty has been going on for years, and it must stop now. If we are animals too, why do we abuse our same kind? Animals don't have a voice. They can't say what's right or wrong. We can be their voice! Together we can stop cruelty forever!
Petition:
I, Crystal Oliver have researched background information on animal cruelty. I believe that no animal of any kind (we are animals) should be treated harshly in innocence. When do you see animals abusing us? Never. If we all come together, we can be the change, and their voice. As I understand, a bill was trying to be passed many times, but failed always.
The new bill should have stronger views on animal cruelty. Right now, if you are caught abusing an animal, it is a $200 fine, and a suspension from animals for 2 years. Many people can overcome the fine, and 2 years is not long enough. What if they decide to do it again?
I am very concerned on this issue, and I can not do it alone. Together, we can be the change!
