We, the undersigned, recognize the Autrey Mill of today was built over a 20-year period under the leadership of the non-profit Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Association (AMNP). Operating under a 30-year lease (originally with Fulton County and now with the City of Johns Creek), the AMNP Board has proven its ability to manage and improve the facility, protect the land, preserve local historic structures, responsibly execute large grants, engage the community in volunteerism, and provide the public with valuable recreational and educational programs.

For these reasons we, the undersigned, urge the City of Johns Creek to drop its lawsuit, honor the 30-year lease with the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve Association, and move forward with a cooperative agreement that provides for the betterment and long-term viability of the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve & Heritage Center.
